ARTIST’S LIBRARY
Character was injected into the living space of this Artist's 1950's home. The interest of the angular ceiling was built on by bringing more texture, colour and asymmetry into the space resulting in a warm and relaxed mood. Colours were selected to pair well with the client's own art, eclectic objects and furniture pieces. There is a mid-century appeal to the timber shelving which houses book and allows for flexibility of changing artworks.
The result is a space that feels lived-in and enjoyed and one that is a reflection of the artist in residence
