K’RD WORKSPACE
This office interior invites conversation and socialising, a theme informed by its users and the client’s brand. It balances the practicalities of an office with and unpretentious client-focused atmosphere.
The space contrasts light with dark and the tasks best suited to each. The office frontage with full height windows and plenty of daylight accommodates desking while the darkened zone at the rear provides an intimate bar-like setting for client wine tastings. The built-in cabinetry is heavily textured with rough sawn timber, stained cork splashback and leathered granite counter. A deep, moody area that allows the products to dominate.
Generous storage is concealed within the kitchenette. Within the olive green nook chunky open shelves acknowledge this is a working business and allow the clutter within the confined space. The small wait area is defined by an oversized "Liquor" photograph by Tim Flower, leather armchairs and a loose weave jute rug.
This is a compact boutique workspace in it's own category.
