KANAT X VIDASPACE EXHIBIT
This collaboration between ourselves and VidaSpace explores the use of TABU timber veneers. The striking veneer patterns are displayed to enhance the magic of each design bringing interiors and art together.
Drawing inspiration from moments in our lives we consider our own memories and how they are frozen in time. A concept derived from the history of a trees’ own life recorded in its every growth ring.
There are conscious and unconscious selections of items and finishes within our own spaces that create context and contribute to the mood and atmosphere of moments captured in our memories.
Using the timber veneers as a subject we framed views throughout the space to create compositions of materiality and form. Complementing the finishes to develop schemes that can be translated into real life.
The installation could not have been made possible without the expertise of Simon at Craftbuilt Industries whose team produced the joinery on display and complimentary Organoid natural wall covering was supplied by Austaron.
